NinjaTrader 8 on a Windows computer, with your accounts connected in NinjaTrader. For Topstep accounts through TopstepX, you also need your TopstepX username and API key.
Like any NinjaTrader AddOn: import the file from Tools → Import → NinjaScript Add-On, and Bunshin appears in the New menu. The Guide walks you through it step by step.
NinjaTrader 8 only runs on Windows. On a Mac, you need Windows in a virtual machine or a Windows VPS.
Yes. Bunshin runs inside NinjaTrader: while you copy, NinjaTrader and the Bunshin window must stay open.
Most allow copying between your own accounts, with conditions that change over time. Always check your firm's current rules before trading; Bunshin can't know what each one allows.
Any firm whose accounts you can see in NinjaTrader (for example, through Rithmic or Tradovate), plus Topstep through TopstepX. Bunshin recognizes the most common ones by account name: Topstep, Lucid, Apex, Bulenox, My Funded Futures, Tradeify, Take Profit Trader, FundedNext and others.
Yes. Each account has its own classification (firm, phase and size), and you can give each one its own risk plan or limits.
You enter each account's drawdown and its type (end of day, intraday or static), and Bunshin calculates it from the moment it starts watching the account. If your prop firm shows a different liquidation level, you enter it and Bunshin tracks from that level.
By position: when the master changes, each account gets market orders for the contracts it is missing or has in excess, so it ends up where it should be. That way, no limit or stop orders are ever left hanging on follower accounts.
Not as orders. When your stop or target is hit on the master, the follower accounts are closed at market. Each account can also have its own loss and profit limits.
Bunshin sets no limit. For TopstepX accounts, the only limit is the number of requests the Topstep API allows; the Connection tab always shows how many requests you have used.
No. Bunshin copies the same instrument the master trades. To change size, use each account's multiplier.
Yes, for practicing on historical data. Daily limits don't apply in Playback, because days advance differently there.
Shield compares each account with the master. If one is out of sync for 10 seconds or one of its orders fails, Shield closes it, deactivates it and sounds the alarm, so nothing is left open by mistake.
Your trades are copied on your own computer. Only your license is checked on our server, and for TopstepX Bunshin talks to its API, just like TopstepX's own website does.
Yes, in three layers: it won't copy an entry that would leave two accounts on opposite sides of the same market, it locks the opposite-side buttons in Chart Trader (⛔ HEDGE), and it instantly cancels any opposite order that comes in another way.
Yes. Mark the account as "Reserved" in the Accounts tab and Bunshin won't use it or touch its charts.
Yes, 7 days with all features.
When you buy, you get a key. Paste it into Bunshin once and it's activated. Each license covers one computer.
Yes. Your subscription, monthly or yearly, can be canceled at any time and you won't be charged again, but amounts already charged are not refunded. The 7-day trial is free; the first charge is made when it ends.
Yes. As long as your subscription, monthly or yearly, is active, you get all updates.
